Half Dome from Olmsted Point. I've been though Yosemite many times in the last three decades but never been here at the "right" time. Last night I decided to end the day here. I shot many images, including some that I want to experiment with using blends and Tony's luminosity masks. This is one shot processed in Lightroom 3.

I really like the light on the rock face, but the sky is pretty disruptive to the flow of the photograph, especially in such a large quantity.

I agree about the sky being too much as presented-crop to more pano format.

Although the sky might be too prominent in the scene, I love the color and perspective from Olmsted Point.

Another vote for a crop, but this is a beauty. I love the lighting.

This is almost abstract with the balance of light that you brought to this. Could see burning the top a bit more to put more emphasis on the glowing rock face.

Here's a cropped version that is less saturated. The "magical" thing about this scene was that golden light in the central valley with a slightly magenta tone on the face. Tell if you think this is better.
