Although I got into photography b'coz of my love for birds I never really got into bird photography in a big way :frown: as i have lack of quality gear & subject here in Mumbai & hence got more into Floral & macro work but i still love to shoot birds when i get a chance (which has been only thrice in the same no. of yrs)

so here's 1 of my Images from Nalsarovar Gujrat
Tv-800, Av-9.0, ISO-250, Canon 5d, 400mm 5.6L, 60% of the original image

C & C welcomed

I'd go with a smaller crop on this and recompose the image, giving the flamingo's more room on the righthand side. Other than that, it's a good looking image with some nice reflections, good job on the exposure too.

I go along with Andy's suggestions for this shot Krunal. Keep looking for those birds, they have to be somewhere. Cheers.

Lovely composition, might crop a little water off, but an excellent capture.

Nice colors and great action. Would prefer more room in front of the lead bird and without the man-made structures in the background.

Really nice look at this guys, with terrific poses form the birds. I rather like the mix of gangly legs hanging down, and overlapping birds in this case...gives a bit of a feel of mayhem as the birds take flight.

As for your gear...don't discount the quality of that 400mm 5.6L!! It's one sharp lens...just got to get a little closer than you do with the 500mm or 600mm with converters.

Nice capture. Agree with the cmts of needing less crop and frame to fly into. Ev is good focus looks a little soft to me. BG is good. I love the orange /black contrast and repeating subjects in motion. Thanks for posting.
