Looking Down on Autumn

Well here in VT we are pretty much into "stick season", 1 of 6 seasons here in VT.... The 5th being "mud season". It's time to start looking downward. This collection of aspen leaves caught my attention after a light Sunday rain. I like the collection and would enjoy hearing your comments on this image. Thanks again for looking.

Nicely put together! I like the colors, the textures and above all the water drops. :toast:

I always enjoy these leaf litter shots, especially with droplets of water like this. This looks good to me, and completely natural (i.e. not staged). The only thing I can think of might be to crop a small amount off the right side, so that the leaves in the middle are more centered, but that is an exceptionally minor nit.

Great arrangement and the water droplets really set it off. Maybe crop a bit off the right? Wonderful image Mitch!

Love it Mitch. Ill second the crop of the right but just to accentuate the gorgeous Bigtooth Aspen leaves.
Just gotta love these shots. Maybe a slight vignette if you decide on the crop.

Wonderful shot

Sweet! The range of colors is superb and the water drops are the icing on the cake, Mitch. It pays to cast a glance downward once in a while. :toast:

Nice! Seen millions of drops-on-leaves shots, but this one is extra pretty. I would definitely crop out that urhc--pulls too much attention there. The left 5/6ths is superb!

Stick season looks like a great time to take pictures. I really like these colors. They're not exactly primary, but have a wonderful degree of saturation.
