This comes straight out of Star Wars - The empire strikes again. These are Dagobar's swamps, aren't they?  I just wonder where the X-wing fighter is... and Luke? and Yoda?
Stunning, surreal light and amazing composition, this is simply stellar.

Marvelous. I love the light on the moss, the massiveness of the cypress boles, the subdued shadowy background, and especially the mistiness on the water.

Wow! Wonderfully moody, and thought provoking shot. I love this presentation(kind of darker). It creates a little mystery in the scene. I'm always impressed with, and enjoy your work!

David,
Your composition and processing of this marelous light and mist makes this a truly enchanting sight. I think this is a multi-purpose image, conjuring up different impressions and associations in each viewer. I just had to shos this to my wife, who was just working on Halloween crafts, and she remarked "Ooh, that's spooky!)

Damn, thats all I needed right now! Until just a short time ago, coming to these swamps in November was on my list for this year, but I'm so booked out I can't make it. Seeing this reeeeeallllly make me regret it. In 12 months I'll be there! just awesome!

Stunning David. Incredible job at handling some difficult light. I love the glow of the highlights and the detail and smoothness of the shadows. Your images of this area make it look so graceful. A couple of small items of note: I'd clone out that loose clump of moss hanging in from the top right and the cut off stump on the right side is a bit of a bummer, but still amazingly beautiful image. :wavey: :toast:
