Canon 400D, 100mm Macro lens, 0.6 secs @ f9, stacked, cropped down about 35% from the original. I wondered how the front anther stayed in balance !

I really like the comp and the fact that all the stamens are in focus. Well done.

Ian:
Like the comp. The anthers are all sharp except for the top one which is marginally soft in the top portion. May be another few more stack would have taken care of that. Good job in keeping the bg soft and dreamy.

Superb stack Ian. Hard for me not to think of this as an upturned clutching hand. Great control in the dof. Exceptional detail in the anthers and I like the tension created by the one that appears to balance. I like the image. It draws me in and holds my attention.

Great details Ian, and I like the lines. To me the anthers look at tad over sharpened. Great color!

wow, Ian. Great lines, colors and details. Would not have thought this was a huge crop. May be a tad over sharpened but no biggie in a web version.

GOOD one, Ian. !! I can't even tell what kind of flower it is, so that's darn fine abstraction. Stacked, huh? How many?

Lovely contrast between both the colors and the sharp details and the softness of the balance of the image. Like this very much, Ian,

The diagonal lines in the background reinforce the lines and points ot the stamens, eager to go out from the upper corner; but the petal in the base, moving in the opposite direction, keep the eyes in the image. I like the composition, Ian.
Take care.
