Cropped Circles (r'post)

On a gloomy, drizzling, overcast day I found this little scene caused by wind and tiny raindrops to be a fairly attractive abstract. I've also done a B&W version, and a version rotated 90 degrees. Thanks for looking and any C&C, larger posted.

I like the mood you've presented here Bill. It certainly reminds me of Pennsylvania. The rain circles and composition are both nice. You might consider burning down the LRC corner a bit. Excellent work.

Interesting idea, but I'm afraid there just isn't enough here to hold my interest, sorry!

While this didn't wow me when I first opened it up, the more I looked at the larger version the more I came to appreciate the subtleties of this image. I think there's just enough clear reflection to let the viewer know what it is their looking at and yet retain somewhat abstract qualities. I might play around with 4x5 crop possibilities, but this works as presented too. Well seen!

There are some nice subtleties to it Eric IMO. But you do have to take a little bit of time to look thru it--this isn't going to pop anything if you just click, look and close. :toast:

Bill, I really like the reflection of the trees in this image. I think the raindrop circles add; I think the pavement detracts.

Well seen.

This would be an interesting one to try as BW. I like the crop idea too, and also agree that there is a lot of subtlety here.

Sorry Carol, there is NO pavement here. It's all water, wind and rain drops... with trees reflected.

I already did a B&W conversion when I PPd this, so here you go John, thanks!
