Nuthatch

A Nuthatch one of the UK's woodland birds. They have great character's and are so quick often hiding the food they find, and always being the bully to other birds for the food.

Crisp, well composed. I especially like the attentive look of the bird.

Sharp with a really clean background... the perch is quite nice as well. All of the photos I see on here from the UK seem to have awesome perches and backgrounds... you guys sure are lucky.

Excellent comp and colors. The feather details are really good with plenty of DOF. Nice eye contact and perch also. Well done.

Sweet comp Karen. Love the perch branch for its texture and character. Maybe just warm it up a tad?

Fantastic shot, Karen. The detail and sharpness are both very good as is that gorgeous green BG.

A beautiful image Karen. I like the character of the perch and the way it moves through the frame. The bird's pose is wonderful as is the light in the eye. Wonderful composition choice too

Excellent perch, composition and background. Which all come together to show off the bird beautifully.
