Great location, love the light you've caught here. Not sure about the 50/50 comp, I would love to see the dune line lead to the mountain.

A beautifully compressed image. Love the warm light on the foreground dunes. Another thing that's attractive is the soft dunes versus the hard chiseled mountains in the background. Real nice image Jon.

Hi Jonathan,

Very nice light here - I like this composition a lot. I might suggest boosting the contrast and sharpness to make this image really pop. While a strong composition - it just feels a little soft to me. You should be able to get a little more out of the highlights and if the shadows were brought down a bit I think you would have a stronger image.

Nice light on the dunes and distant mountains. Looks a little soft to me, I agree with Jason's comments about boosting the contrast and sharpness a little.

Really nice image Jonathan. I actually think that the lower half is outstanding! Those lines and ripples and the warm light are very apealing. Then there is the background and somehow the whole does not come together too well for me. Not sure what it is - maybe the lines from the lower half should somehow get repeated in the bg.

Cool! As others have mentioned, the bottom sort of overhwelms the top. I would suggest a slight increas ein the brightness and contrast of the top portion, and maybe a very slight bump up in the blue asturation so that it contrasts with the strong yellows below. I havent been to those dunes since i was a kid--really have to get back some time!
