Welcome to NPN. Looks like this location has great potential. I am not seeing the trail.

Ashcroft,
Welcome to NPN! This is quite a peaceful, quiet and contemplative scene. I think one could just sit and nap, have a picnic or just think in this place.
Like Mark, I'm not seeing the "hand of man" here, but it's still a lovely scene none the less.
Technically, I see two things that could be improved. I think you could back off on the highlights quite a bit and the overall brightness. Also, and this is not an uncommon problem, but I think you could re-visit the sharpening for the web; this looks a little like too much sharpening - combine that with the jpg compression for the web.... It's a tough/fine line trying to get our images to look good on the web.
Welcome aboard. We look forward to your images and participation.

Welcome to NPN! I'm not seeing the trail, but that doesn't really matter at all since you've got a nice little forest scene here. There's potential here, though this version appears to be oversharpened (it looks sort of chunky or crispy on screen). That's easily fixed, and the exposure looks good.

Hi Ashcroft. Hope ya don't mind, but I going to move this to ESS since as Lon mentioned I see no evidence of the hand of man. I also think you should bring down the highlights in this image to reduce the harsh light.
