Ha, you could have deleted before i jumped in with my comment--but now it's too late! Now, you will be forced to repost with less sharpening!  But once you do, it will be KILLER, great comp and atmosphere.

I agreed about the sharpening too. This is a killer shot! Such a nice, and unusual mix of colors. Works very well together for me.

Wow, Morris. This is very nice. I love the interesting palette of colors and the dusting of snow. Also Kudos for shooting a less photographed location.

Very interesting image Morris! I like the very bright presentation, almost a bit "high key" particular the bg. Very coherently composed from near to far!

Splendid composition.
I especially like how the mountains almost blend into the sky and how the fore and midground resemble a patchwork quilt...almost complete opposites that works surprisingly well here!

This looks great Morris, it looks like it could have been taken in North Wales (my favourite place).

Morris,

This is nice. I love the patterns in the FG and MG. The snow in the mountains and the white sky creates a stunning contrast and the little snow in the FG ties it all together. Wonderful work.

The limited color palette is wonderful and my eyes flow very easily up to the mountains in the background. Great shot . . . you won't get this one again for a year, it appears.

The snow really helps give definition to the landscape here. Without it I would imagine the midground to be lacking in distinctive features. The rework is perfect.

Hey Morris,

What a cool spot. The varied color patches throughout the scene are wonderful. That lichen explosion rock in the fg is a great subject. Repost looks awesome

Morris,

Put me down for loving this one! What a marvelous early winter landscape. I'm actually at a loss at describing what I think about this. There's just something about the earthy tones, the lichen contrasted with the snow-dusted peaks... just so much visual appeal here. Great work!

Very artistic, Morris. Umm, I like the sharpness of the first image best. Gives a nice etching type quality to the scene.

Morris, this is gorgeous. Such wonderful, varied patterns and textures throughout from the rocks in the foreground, to the brush midrange, and the beautiful patterns of snow and rock on the peaks. Love the color as well. Fantastic work.

I'd go a tad less aggressive on sharpening even in the reworked image. But fabulous place and image. You have done a lovely job with exposure.
