Sandy, I like the diagonal lines in the petals. The image appears a bit soft and perhaps that was your intention. Hey, what do I know? I've grown so used to looking at stacked images with their 3D effect and yours may be the normal one.
Happy T-day.

Sandy: Just got back from a short stroll in our garden investigating some of our hibiscus that are blooming and came in to discover this. I don't think it is soft but the POF appears to be a touch behind the foremost tips of the pistil. Regardless, it works for me and I like the comp. Well done.>=))>

Hi sandy Love this composition. the radiating white lines against the dark red center gives it movement. the beautiful pistil is sharp enough to hold its own, A very enjoyable image

Sandy:
Lovely hibiscus shot. Like the diagonal pistil and the swirl and radiating lines in the petals. Well done.

Love the soft focus effect of this, Sandy ( though maybe the stigma could be a touch sharper ? ) - this image has a very dynamic feel which seems to me to bring out the essence of the flower beautifully.

Sandy, what I like more is the effect of a red merry-go-round that is rotating, just now, dragged by the wheel in the bottom of the pistil. I love the image, Sandy.
Cheers.
