In keeping with the current weather conditions in the UK

Thanks to all for the feedback on my last post

The perch is an old apple tree in the back garden.

Ian, I like snow images, and this one is no exception. The craggy old perch branch is nice as is the head turn by the fieldfare. Sharpness on the bird looks good based on the larger image. Thanks for providing it. A great winter season mood setter for me.

Love the sharp eye on this one, Ian and your comp is spot on.

Ian,

Your image has a nice wintery mood to it that I find very enjoyable. I like the pose of the fieldfare and the great head turn it gave you. The setting is very appealing and the falling snow really adds to the mood.

Nice image Ian. The comp is set up nicely with the way the branch is placed in the frame and the position of the bird. The falling snow makes for a wonderful effect here as well. :toast:

Like the larger image Ian; great detail. l like the way you've centred on the perch but I'd be tempted to add just a fraction to the bottom if you have it as the foot is very close to the edge of the frame

cheers
