A juvenile Great Tit taken in the rain from a home-made hide out in my yard.

The sides of the head are a yellowy colour and turn to pure white when they become adults.

Geoffrey,

Love the pose of the bird, those tiny water drops on its plumage, the natural colors and the greens & reds of the branch the Great Tit is perched on. Very nice details, sharpness and comp.

Wow! Great composition and detail! Nice background too. Perhaps its just me, or my monitor, but is there a slight greenish/yellow color cast? I can't decide. In the lower right and upper center I see some vertical white streaks. Are these rain drops? Cool shot! :toast:

I echo Mia's comments here Geoffrey. Love the DOF and the perch branch with fruit.
