Another image from Sunday's session with the Harrier. This was earlier and I was further away and using the teleconverter and tripod.He looks a little less like he's in a post-Thanksgiving food coma in this one.

7D, 500mmm f4 + 1.4TC, Black Widow on Gitzo legs, f8, 1/640, iso 400, Av mode, no compensation. Cropped from 18 to 12 MP. Taken November 28th at 11:18 am.

Really like everything about this shot Dennis. Great light, detail, and color. Love the BG and the habitat. Bird is sharp. Eyes are riviting. Very nice.

Dennis, this is a real beaut. Got detail, color, great habitat(the weed going over top of the bird adds a special touch to the image), and fabulous yellow eyes.
