What an endearing pose and setting John. I'm not sure I have ever seen a nuthatch bathing. The bits of greens in the image add a very nice splash of color. Love the eye contact and feather detail

Really neat to see a nuthatch in such an unusual setting John. Great eye contact and I enjoy the almost forlorn look.

What strikes me most here is the almost iridescent colors on the Nuthatch's back, obviously brought on by the wet feathers. That eye pops, also. nice one, John.

Very cool shot and an atypical pose for these active birds. Processing looks great and the eye in engaging.

Nicely captured, John. A very unique setting for a nuthatch; wonderful detail, too.

Another cracking pool shot, John. The fanned tail looks great as do the colours.

Well done. Like the detail that I can see here. Nice and sharp for 1/80. Wish for a larger version.
