Third in a series of 5 or 6 of the Great White Egret Fight. After the wing bite as seen in the previous post, the aggressor now steps over the other bird in an attempt to push it beneath the floating foilage.

Wayne, the thumbnail drew me right in to try and figure out what was going on. Great interaction and wingspread(s), this almost looks like an exoctic white orchid but they are birds!

A very interesting to say the least Wayne. It is very difficult to figure out what is happening and that keeps me looking. Without your explaination I may never have got it. Cool image.

It's the symmetry I like best here Wayne. Also the dramatic lighting and the reality of the tattered feathers.

Wow! I sure love behavior shots. This is sort of like watching Pro Wrestling.

I went back to look at the first two in the series, which I hadn't seen before. This one takes the cake. Out of chaos there is symmetry. Congratulations on a fine series. Looking forward to the next ones.

You know, where they can stop on a dime & go in reverse
