Somewhere in Perthshire... I couldn't even begin to say where but on a rainy day, the sun broke out momentarily and this scene presented itself.

Canon 5DMkII, 24-105mm 4L IS, ISO 200, f8, 2 seconds, warming polarizer, Gitzo tripod.

I like this a lot, and do especially like this kind of image/comp. For whatever reason, I don't seem to pull them off nearly as well as I'd like. This is a nice one with beautiful light, and color.

I usually dont care for the 'trees hanging in my face' kind of comp--but aside from that personal bias this is real pretty, perfectly exposed and presented with some great colors and subject matter! Maybe its just too much for me, cause if i screen crop i really like the left half and the right half by themselves, more so than the entire shot.

Love the punchy colours Kah, comp works for me too.

Good eye to recognize the potential in this. A bit different, but you made this light and comp work well IMO.

Hello Kah :wavey: love the structure of those branches, and the overall idyllic mood of this country scene

Kah Kit,

I love the backlighting and just light in general here. The dark branches add a nice structure and I really like that the branches occupy the UL otherwise that would be a little bit of a dead area. Great color and contrast as well. Lots going on, but nicely crafted.

I really like the backlighting and the color. The textures are almost as nice, and the dark limbs add really good structure. I like it!
