Remembering Sabrina
by Chris Chamberlain
The last morning of the Eastern Sierra fall trip, eric and i stood here in the rain for well over an hour and never saw these peaks. we decided to pack it in and head to the marina cafe for a breakfast burrito and cup of coffee. As we watched the rain, snow, and hail come in for another hour. We then decided to give up on it. Just as we were in our cars a saying good by, it lightend up and gave us a sense of possibilities. We quickly headed back to this spot, and this is what she gave us. I hope you enjoy it, and thank you for your thoughts. Larger version included as well.
Thanks,
Chris

14 commentsand I like the way that you've composed the scenic. In the back right the
swathes of color give the appearance that nature empited buckets of pain on
the hillside. The S curve is very graphic.
Congrats for waiting this one out - you were well rewarded. The wide distribution of autumn color really shows well in the large version. Nothing to critique here, a beautiful capture from Sabrina and the Eastern Sierra.
