After a long waiting game this egret finally decided to take flight from the pole of a boat dock. Shot in Central Florida.

Hi Jonathan: Great flight pose. Wings down is always appealing. Overall the image looks dark. The feet are tough to distinguish from the background. I'd like a little more room at the bottom and less at the top. Keep 'em coming. Flight shots are tough.

The comp is fine with me. Pose is good and sharpness looks good but tough to tell from the smaller version. A larger version would have helped with critique. To me this looks like it needs some Counter-clockwise rotation based on the lines that exists in the BG vege.

Jonathan

I like the flight pose, wings down, and the curve of the egret's neck. This does look a little dark to my eye. Sharpness looks ok at the size posted but the head looks a little soft. I wonder if a larger version would show more detail.
