Jasper Pulaski Wildlife and Fish Area, Medaryville IN. Nov. 2010. I liked the warm morning light on the feather against the sky. Any cropping needed?

Settings: Nikon D80, Nikkor 600 f4 VR, f/4, 1/800sec, ISO200

C&C are welcome and appreciated.

Jim, Nice capture. I would crop a very small amount from the top just to emphasize the long body in flight.

Good job.

Ji, very Nice flight shot!
I'd suggest more of a pano crop, rather than a square one, with lots more room so the bird is not centered.
The blue seems way over-saturated from here -

Very warm light on the crane Jim and sharpness looks pretty good. I like the wing position also. That's a very blue sky - it can be that blue at times but very often its due to processing. I agree about the comp suggestions.

Nice light on the crane with a nice wing position. The blue sky feels over saturated. If this image was lightened up a little it could help with the sky, but that would lose the warm light on the crane. I selectively dealt with the blue.

Jim, I agree with the comments you have so far. More room in front and bring the blue down on the sky a bit. Nice flight shot for 1/800s.
