Light in the Zion Narrow
by Barbara Lee
I was in Zion National Park the first week of November, 2010. The conditions were perfect - warm days and no wind with great color coming on. This was my first visit to the park - I will be back! I took this image around 1:30 in the afternoon as I was returning from an all day walk up to Wall Street and back. Many photographers focus on the water, I chose to focus on the terrific light on the cottonwoods and, of course, the reflected light on the Navajo sandstone.
Shot with a Nikon D90, 18-200 VR lens on a very wet tripod!
