Well it snowed on Long Island today. Notice the snow piling up on the birds back. Just cropped for composition, adjusted wb & contrast and sharpened

Thanks for looking.

Mike

I already told you, but sweet low angle. Love that snow piled up on the body, You may want to consider cloning some of the bigger flakes that are falling but not a huge deal.

I like this photo. Great seeing this bird in such a different setting. He looks cold-I like the snow on his back.

I like this a lot, Michael. The habitat and snow on the back combine nicely with the Bittern's somewhat unusual pose. :toast:

I like this because it is an environment that you almost never see this type of bird photographed in. I looked at it and my first thought was somebody forgot to go south.

Excellent winter shot and environment Michael, well composed and a great POV..
Looks very cold, even more so with the snow on its backside.
Perhaps a touch more contrast on the bird?
Well done :toast:

Not a bird I commonly associate with snow. The snow piled up on the bird's back tells the viewer a great deal about the bird and its hunting habits. Very nicely done.

Very cool to see the snow accumulation. I don't know if it's just me, but it almost looks as thought there was a small obstruction in front of the lens. I see what appears to be a small band of lower-contrast going through the bird. Notwithstanding, I like everything about the photo; nicely captured.
