Snowy Egret on the Wing

Captured this Snowy Egret last Sunday at Brazos Bend State Park in late afternoon sun. I like the way its wing cradles the head. Cropped to 60% of full frame to eliminate cluttered background. I cloned out several dead leaves in the BG, the vegetation can look pretty rough this time of year.

Nice image. Very nice detail in the feathers. I like that little bit of motion in the tip of the wing. Don't you love Brazos Bend!

Hi Randy, The white are gorgeous. I think your spot metering really paid off here. and I do like the wing position.
