This photo I took in family night trip to the desert. The blue colours on the rocks came form light of the tent and the red colours on the sky came from city lights.

Canon 5D mark II
canon lens 17-40
ISO 2000
30 SEC
F4

Very interesting. I like the color palette very much and it does look alien.

Great use of several artificial light sources here! The overall feel is alien indeed with the great colour palette!

Totally surreal Abdulmajeed. I like the colour contrasts here. This is the way night scenes should be. Good job. Cheers

Wow! Lots to look at here. The warm/cool color contrast, the dramatic clouds, the stars. Just gorgeous. Not sure I'm liking the 50/50 comp though, I would crop the image just above the lower most rock as there isn't much going on down there anyway. I think with a crop this would be an absolute winner!

I really like the combination of the deep blue foreground with the fiery sky sprinkled with stars. A very surreal looking image.

This is a sweet capture. While I was looking at it I felt like the foreground needed something, then I started messing around and scrolling. Maybe a crop to just under the larger illuminated rocks is what it needs.
Now I see that Jake made a similar comment.

It does have an otherworldly quality to it. I'd crop from the bottom to a 4x5 aspect ratio, but then I like a 4x5 aspect ratio  . Nice work!

This is a really neat shot. I might have taken another exposure to get a sharper skyline. I'm a bit surprised that no ones mentioned the title, did you mean "Planet"? :toast:
