I originally shot a stack of 25 images for this with the 4th flower too in focus but after processing it in helicon there was a halo around the fourth flower which i cud'nt remove so i tried to do a stack of 13 with only the 3 flowers in focus, i like it & wud be nice to hear what u guys think :)

Av - 8, ISO - 400, stack of 13 images, tripod, 100mm with 25mm extension tube

C & C welcomed :wavey:

Nice detail and color. You guys are killing me with this focus stacking. I've yet to try it. I guess I know what my project is for this weekend. Thanks again, Krunal and all you NPNers for your ideas and inspiration. :toast:

Krunal: Fine stack and a terrific result. I like the inclusion of the buds. My only compositional suggestion would be a tiny bit of room on the top for the upper bud. Very well done.>=))>

Great shot Krunal. Like what Bill said more room at the top of the image would make it stronger.

Very nice, Krunal. Good color, nice diffused bg and good use of stacking.

I like your composition here. Having and odd number bloom in focus is better as it creates some tension in the image compared to an even number one. I find the OOF bloom slightly distracting though - darkening it selectively may help. Overall a very strong image :toast:

I like the sharpness of the three prominent flowers and the composition. Well done.

Krunal,

I like the composition and the color palette. The cilia on the stem look very natural to me but the textures in the petals and the flower centers don't seem as sharp as I would expect. It may very well be the flower though or my monitor. It's a beautiful image regardless.

Very, very well done Krunal. I agree with the suggestion of more room at the top, but a wonderful effort and reward. SUPER.

Hi Krunai. I like very much the composition and the editing work. The three flowers in the foreground compose a stark geometrical structure, a triangle. That is why I like better an image without the forth flower in the background.
Have a beautiful holiday time, Krunai.

I like it! I agree with your stacking choice (I have yet to try, but will this year...fingers crossed!). Great dof although I, too, would appreciate a little more room on top (if possible?). Wonderful image as presented!
