The famous (at least as trout fishing goes) West Branch Ausable River blanketed with fresh snow. Compression has killed the small version, please view Large.

Brr! I love the diagonals created by the trunks on the right and the branches jutting in the ULC. Very well crafted composition.

Most definitely my favorite image of all the ones I've seen posted from you on this site Zack. The snow really helps define the curve of the river and minimize the extracurriculars of the scene. I love the floating ice chunks in the river too. Wonderful work! :toast: :toast:

Great winter image Zack. It's great to have such heavy snowfall with the bonus of a reflection.

Zack - I can feel the freshness of the new snow in this. The s curve, fresh snow are all great, but what makes this extra special is the skim icing of the river. This is one of my favorite types of photography - usually it is just you and the freshly fallen snow. A treat!
