About a 2 hour drive here for me to arrive and see overcast skies. Nice surf though! Is this too dull/dreary? I hope you enjoy it, and thank you for your thoughts. Large version included.
Thanks,
Chris

Nice wave action Chris. Plenty of stuff going on here to keep the eyes wandering. Feels like I'm right there.

On the contrary (dull/dreary), I quite enjoy the quality of light and the colors in this photo.

I really like the mood, color and pov in this image. I do not think it is dull at all. The only nit is it might need a slight rotation to the right. But then it might just be me.

Chris, I like the mood of this image. The color and the shutter speed of the water are wonderful. Maybe a little crop off the bottom. Great job!

Powerful and dynamic scene. I like the combination of the soft/moving water and the static/detailed rocks.

Chris,
Dull/dreay? Hardly! Sure, you're dealing with overcast, but at least there is some decent definition in the sky. It's the seascape, the rocks, the wave action and water motion that really make this one come together. The sky is there just for the ride, neither hurting nor adding much to the scene. You might even be able to get away with pulling out some more green color/sat in the sea, but otherwise I think this is a lovely and solid seascape.

I like it. My only thought is to crop the bottom dark area as it seems a bit too heavy for this frame.

You sound like you were in need of some pink! Anyway you caught the mood and it feels like it may have connected with your mood at the time. Nice capture of the power of the ocean in the stormy conditions Chris.

Quite nice, Chris. My personal preference would be to crop out the dark portion of the beach. It detracts from the rest of the image imo.

Something different for you, but captured nicely. Too bad about the overcast skies. this would really sing with better light. Very nice comp and timing though.

You perfectly captured the dynamic of the waves, I nearly can hear their sound!
