This shot was taken on the same evening as my last post (King Creek). I was spending the night in the car and could not sleep due to the -25 C temps so I thought I would make use of my time by doing some fun shots. The moon was quite bright and illuminated the mountain nicely so I was able to get away with one double processed raw file for this one. Maybe not everyone's cup of tea, but I thought it might make a good stock image. By the way, this is Mount Shark Rd and the tail lights are from my own vehicle since no one else was stupid enough to be out at this time in these temps!

That's pretty cool Wayne! I love the comp and all the elements come together nicely. I might darken the lower left portion, I thing that will allow the mtn to shine more in the distance. Really nice shot!

Thanks for the feedback Kurt, I totally agree. I have darkened the road a bit and then bumped the highlight end of the levels to give it a little kick. I think this is a big improvement!

I like it Wayne. The mountain looks great and I like the curving lines from the tail lights. I like the repost much better with the darker snow in the foreground.

Nice idea. Fortunately no one came along and hit your camera.

I gotta hand it to ya Wayne, I wouldn't have the nerve to leave my camera set up along side the road like that.I really like the image and the creativity.
