Patricia Lake at Sunrise

NIce airy shot, Barry--i love Winter scenes like this! One minor suggestion: i might prefer a tad more white--theres a lot of gray tone here.

I like the gentle tones here. Makes for easy viewing. The subtle variation in bottom is interesting.

I really like the crispness and tonal range - especially in the large version. Sunrise though? I guess the b&w is disguising that pretty well; the only real hint is the light striking the peak. Otherwise I wouldn't guess an early morning shot. I'd had to lose any clouds, but I can see a nice pano out of this. Mostly to lose at least half of the lake which isn't really providing much in the way of detail or interest. The clouds, mountains and forest are all showcased nicely.

Wonderful light in this image, Barry. I like the low side-light hitting the trees. Nice b/w conversion too, with a nice range of tone. Perhaps a little more contrast in the sky would be nice, but that's my taste. I would also consider cropping half the fg water as this 'block' of light tone unbalances the image for me. Lovely shot.

I appreciate this B&W, yet somehow I am missing colors in this picture. Maybe due to a lack of contrast?
