I know there are tons of these photos out there now after the eclipse but I did one too and thought I would post it, A panoramic shot of the red eclipse from half way to full. Shot on a clear sky in Banff Alberta, Canada

I would have loved to get a clear view like this with my own eyes, let alone with the camera. I like the apparent consistency in exposure through the sequence. How were the temps?

it was very cold out, -25ish, and we were very lucky to have a clear night out, thanks :)

I really like how you held the brightness of were the sun is hitting and then slowly diminishes to full eclipse. Very nice job Simon.

You know, all the eclipse images seem to show the white moon with the missing wedge which is the Earth's shadow. You show an over exposed moon with the red of the shadow. Different concept and very lovely.

Simon,

Another nicely crafted image of this eclipse event. Not to be too picky, but I would work on the spacing and alignment of the arch. The moon on the far left has a little more spacing than the others and it looks like some of them are just off the arc line. Nice job with the captures and presentation.

Great shot / series. The side glow on the moon is really nice.
