Lovely Autumn hues, well composed. I'm not sure the Orton effect is necessary, but I do like this!

I think the Orton effect is perfect here Daniel, just gives a light dreamy touch, but not overdone. Beautiful color and comp. Well done.

Beautiful color. The Orten effect works very well with the softness of the water.

Daniel,

Beautiful scene from the PNW and a perfect one for that touch of Orton. It works very nicely for me. I really like the soft glow added to the scene. I also especially like the clean whites of the stream.

I'm torn about the presence of the leaves in the LRC. Plenty of leaves around to suggest it's a natural setting, but they almost look placed to me - like you were trying to fill the void in that corner? Not a big deal, but they do keep drawing my eye over there. But a beautiful scene regardless.

I actually like that leaf in the LRC. Adds some nice asymmetry to the scene, which would be blander without it IMO.

Love it! I would probably clone out the twig that seems to be floating beside a rock in the middle of a cascade. :toast:

This is very nice, Daniel. A very pretty scene and well done. My eye does keep going to the leaf in the lrc, but I like it there.

Awesome image Daniel. Minor nits - the little branch on the llc. I would also like to see the shadows opened up a little, as the black draws my eye. On the other hand, it may just be my laptop monitor

Very nice, but have to agree on the LL branch & the leaf is way too strong and keeps pulling my eye toward that corner. Try covering it with your thumb, then take your thumb away and you'll see just how strong an element it is.
