Nice shot John-however this looks like sunset. I believe myself and quite a few NPNers witnessed this spectacular scene just off the highway in Ridgeway, CO.

Beautiful light! It almost looks like a miniature model. My only suggestion would be to consider cropping the mountain peak on the far right side.

Amazing! I know this spot well.
This looks like sunrise, by the light on the back of the left mountains, but it looks like sunset by the light on the orange foreground sky. How did you do this?

The gold on the hillside is killer. Great light. Feel you could crop off the right side a bit to pull the focus more to the center as it feels a bit extraneous over there. Nice catch!

Art was right. I went back to look at the time stamp. It was indeed taken at sunset, right after a down pour. He was also right about the location. It is called Dallas Divide. Thanks for the correction.

I keep coming back to this beautiful photo. It looks like light from three different times of the day.
I especially like the hard afternoon light on the hills, combined with orange sunset colors in the clouds.

Nice idea though I'd decrease the saturation a bit and try to open up some more shadow detail.

I love the colors in the air and on the land. It's an awesome warmth with just enough of the cool blue to anchor it.
