A city baldie!

There was a small white blob in a tree across the bay which thankfully turned out to be a baldie. While they are slowly making a comeback around the 1000 Islands, it is still rare to see them in a city setting - This was taken as per Ron Dudley - out of the window of the pickup truck on a bean bag!! Thanks Ron! I think I am finally getting it

The pickup truck is your best friend in bird photography. I can't believe what I can drive up to that I can't walk up to. Congrats on getting a chance to shoot a bald eagle. :toast:

I'm glad to hear they are making a comeback! Tough shooting situation, with the foreground branches, however the way you framed this and kept the image a bit underexposed lends a moody low key feel that I rather like. :toast:

Great job focusing on the Eagle through all those branches, Lindy. The oof tree trunk in front of the eagle is a bit of a distraction, but if you were some distance away, it's hard to move the relative position of something like that. You might try brightening the image a bit-it seems a bit dark on this uncalibrated monitor. :toast:
