The Orton Effect got my attention at first, but the more I view the image, the less noticeable it is. I know complaining about the white sky is cliche, but it really does attract a lot of attention without contributing much to the viewing experience (even with the sunburst). Scroll cropping it helps the colors from the soft warm light to stand out and be noticed, and I think those are crucial to the success of the image.

Although I like the composition in principle, the picture makes an overprocessed impression. I would be curious to see a more natural version, maybe also with crop of the upper part with the sun, which I find distracting.

Normally, that much bright sky would really detract, but with the Orton effect it just makes it rather dreamy. I think I would crop some off the left side though to remove the cutoff rock in the left bottom and the cutoff tree trunk on the left. Very enjoyable image Daniel.

I like the Orton effect here as it adds a bit of dreaminess to the scene. Sort of wish the greens popped a bit more in the shadows.

I like the Orton effect Daniel, adds a pleasant dream like quality to the image. I find the sky a little distracting. The back lit trees in the background really stand out nicely.
