This was taken on our (me and Andreas Resch) last morning in Switzerland. We witnessed a cool show with lenticular clouds above Matterhorn, but also above the peaks situated north from it, like Ober Gabelhorn and Wellenkuppe that you see here.

Nice! Quite the rugged mountain vista you captured here, and with a lenticular to top it off. The black and white works very well. I can see this with a slight crop to the left side so the tallest peaks are closer to the center.

A very dramatic scene, specially with the inclusion of that cloud formation. The tones are lovely.

Very nice image. I really like the comp. When I see black and white I am always wondering what it looked like in color.

Dorin,

Very nice BW conversion. Small nit the tone of the tall peak and the cloud bottom are very close. Not exactly sure how I would change that. But it's not an image killer that's for sure, the names of mountains in your neck of the woods are certainly lyrical.

Very nice. I really like the sharp textures of the mountains and the way they contrast with the smoothness of the clouds.

A stunning b/w, Dorin. Wonderful clarity and detail throughout. The high contrast of the mountain is beautifully juxtaposed against the very soft sky, really making the mountain pop. Great shot!

Great photo Dorin. So many great tones, must have been difficult getting it just right with the shadowed snow and the sun light snow. The cloud having over top is a superb compliment to the harsh angles of the mountain. The peak on the right glowing and the snow coming off it is the icing on the cake for me though, awesome. Cheers
