Very nice light. I like the color it gives the snow. Nice comp with the low horizon.

I appeciate the warming colors upon the winter scene! A pleasant composition giving space to the magically lightened clouds.

The sky is just stunning, Richard, but the foreground feels a bit random. I wonder if a more prominent element in the foreground (tree, rock, or even a detailed clump of grasses) would make it a stronger image.

That sky is really nice; perfectly exposed and with nice color. I agree with Guy in that an object, or objects in the foreground would make it stronger.

Nice work, Richard.

Pretty; nice soft color across the sky. I like the low horizon. I do agree that having a subject closer in the FG would make it even better, but hey, sometimes you can't get there in time, or even get there at all. I do like that kind of country anyway. Good use of the GND, too. Sometimes, even on NPN, you see an image that used a GND, and it's so obvious that to me, anyway, it is really distracting.

Richard,

Now this is cold! Do you use a remote to trigger your shutter? This is so crisp that I have to believe it was triggered with a remote. Great shot!

Very lovely. I wouldn't change a thing. I love the ratio of land to sky -- gives the feeling of being in the great outdoors.
