I liked the way the morning light caught this one. There is no more room to the right.
Comments and critiques always welcome!

Dan, Nice sharpness on head, body and feet and I like the morning light and your exposure. Slight but effective head turn towards us and the dark water background sets the ibis off well.

Great light and sharpness, the dark water is great as a bg to set off the light on the Ibis.

Dan this looks sharp where it needs to be sharp. The centeredness only bothers me a tiny bit. But if you wanted it a little less centered, maybe experiment with taking a tiny bit more off the ls???

Dan, you have great light, a nice pose, and an interesting perspective from above the bird. I agree about perhaps taking a little off the left.

The lighting is outstanding in this image, Dan: we can see how it brings out the details in the face and feet of the bird. A little bit of motion blur is present in the wings. That's fine: it gives a sense of motion. However, when I first saw this shot I thought the bird was laying on the water. On closer inspection that impression disappears. The bird does stand out very well from the background but I have no idea how far from the water it is. I need to reason that the bird is flying. Interesting. Anyway, regardless, it is a very attractive image. :toast:

Dan, the light is just wonderful. In the larger version I can almost touch the near wing.
