Chuck,
Great hawk picture. I just ran into one of these today but he was behind heavy branches. You have a great look here.

Nice Charles. Glad you decided to post this. He has a great head turn. Nice light in the eye. Color of the bird looks good. I know you are happy to have gotten this.

Nice view of the hawk, Chuck. There seems to be a lot of noise in the bird in the larger image, which I find strange with your techs. Did you do a lot of selective sharpening?

Nice image. I like the Florida Red Shoulders. The last time I was in the Everglades they seemed to pose and almost call me over to take pictures. We lived near Louisville, KY for six years and saw many of these hawks, but I could never get close enough to get a good image.

Nice capture Chuck. I also see a lot of noise in the image. Wondering if it might have been underexposed a bit and trying to pull details out of the shadows?

Chuck, I like the head turn you got from this handsome hawk. There's light in the eye and the colors look right to me for the species. For me the branches provide habitat without being distracting. I also enjoy the lichens on the perch. I'm a bit surprised by the noise at ISO 200 though.
