A great first shot Fabrizio. Love the flight posture and including the nice head turn. Bird looks sharp and the BG works really well with this bird. Would love to see this larger and I encourage you to post the larger version as it really helps provide you with the best critique possible of your image. Looking forward to seeing more of your work.

Fabrizio: Welcome to NPN! This is a very nice capture. Wing position is great, with fantastic colors. Nice clean background also enhances the bird. Very nice. Thanks for sharing this image.

Very nice first post Fabrizio, great action, nice exposure and choice of comp. To my eye this looks a tiny bit oversharpened, especially in the high contrast straight line areas of the left wing, that should be easy to remedy.

You'll find that you learn as much from the comments you give as the ones that are given to you if you take the time to evaluate other members images carefully.

Welcome to NPN

Welcome to NPN Fabrizio. :wavey: What a cool shot to start with. You nailed the focus here and that terrific pose is unique. I do wish there was a bit more separation between the branches and the bird, but those are things beyond our control with this sort of action photography. :toast:

Molto bene Fabrizio. Nice position of the bird. Perhaps a tiny bit too much sharpening but I like the color and composition.

Welcome, very nice first post with such a colorful bird. For me, it would of been nice to have a little more separation from the plants in the background since that grey darker background would of really highlighted the bird but wonderful as is, well done.
