Crossing the Line

I really enjoy this little country side road and how it opens at the end (along with a great pond alongside). Stopped by the other day to find these tracks winding down it. Obviously, the critter that took the path didn't read the sign on the tree. Pretty sure it escaped safely though.

Captured and processed RAW, hoping this shows the detail well enough, especially to read the sign at this size. ISO-100, 1/125th, f-5.6, 26mm, CPL. Larger posted, C&C welcomed!

Nice image Bill. The large version is packed full of detail and the tracks are a good effect that invites the eye through the image. My personal taste would be to clone out the sign to make the scene more inviting (just my personal opinion though). Composition and exposure look great, well done.

Very nice image. Good exposure and fine detail. Could go either way on the sign. Thanks for sharing.

This is just beautiful. Great processing, such wonderful light and such an intimate scene.
