Another Bosque shot, this time a Snow Goose taking off from the crane pools in the morning. I like the extended wings, nice detail, and sweet bosque bg.

Your comments and critiques are appreciated. Please view the larger version if possible.

Manual exposure 1/3200, f/6.3, ISO 400

Very nice picture Brian. I like the BG and details on the plumage. We even see a damaged feather on the first primary of the right wing !

Awesome image. I like the tight crop letting us see all the sharp detail in this elegant bird. Nice neutral background. Well done.

I can appreciate this image because I shoot with a 7D and just bought a 500 lens. I'm a long way from accomplishing a flight show like this. This is a spectacular image. The exposure is excellent and I love the BG. Very nice.

Amazing details and that nice morning light. Also the full spread wings make a perfect pose. Excellent smooth background too. Might have just a tad more room above that one wing.

Gorgeous shot, Brian. Quite a feat to get such good isolation of one bird out of many flying. What a wonderful bg to compliment the bird.

I like the morning light and good job on handling those whites, on the larger version the feet appear to be wet from taking off in the water, excellent detail, way to go.
