Terrific detail, fine pose, nice little head turn, excellent bg. Only nit is the branch heading downwards. I think that branch might actually be o.k. but combined with the position of your copyright signature makes the lower part of the image quite cluttered. Maybe just moving your signature to the rhs and down would help. :toast:

I like it Sharon. It has a nice wintry feel to it, with the cool colors in the background. Branch doesn't bother me in the lower right.

I love the background colors and they accentuate the subtle coloration of the junco's plumage. Love the great view of the eye and the pink bill.

Wonderful pose and details Sharon. The blues and white of the background really help add to the cool feel here.

really nice, Sharon. nice pose, great detail, and like you say, a nice wintery shot. I like the comp and am not bothered by the lower branch.

You have captured the simple beauty of this species very well with the direct pose and minimalist setting. Very cool the way the branches are positioned in the frame. :smile:

Nice exposure Sharon. I could take or leave the branch. I like the lighter background as appears to soften the overall appearance of the bird. :smile:
