Snow Capped

by Patricia Brundage

Gallery: FloraPosted January 26, 2011129 views11 comments
The trees and brush along the Housatonic were covered in snow and this snow capped one caught my eye. Nothing but a vignette and sharpening tools used. Taken with Canon 5D using 24-135 IS lens.

Comments welcomed.

Very interesting presentation and, overall, a terrific image. A simple but very pretty scene.

Unusual and interesting choice of background and vignetting, with a striking result.

This is a great image Patricia. I just love these simple yet beautiful images. I wonder how people come up with these things. Every time I see one I try to imagine myself doing this and I always stumble on the idea part.

Looks like a bunch of little snowballs, ready to throw..
Great eye to visualize this, and lovely presentation.
