Using car as a hide.
Almost full frame, the pony was on a gradient so I did a slight rotation and cropped a minimum amount to square the edges.
Comments
6 commentsDumb question: are these feral or wild ponies? I'm guessing they are (partly by your title), but don't really know.
I'm in agreement with Nate's comments, but have one minor nit: my personal preference here would be for more depth-of-field - to my eye that "zone of sharpness" in the grass is a little thin and almost draws attention to itself. It looks to me like you had quite a bit of shutter speed to play with (i.e., could stop down) - if that DOF extended more in the foreground and a little further back I think I'd prefer the shot more. But overall very nice as posted.
Cheers...
Brad
They are wild Brad, they are free to roam.
