A beautiful autumn Dawn at Rannoch Moor. Shot on the way back to the airport after 5 days of rain and mist in the Scotish Highlands! Good things come to those who wait!! :jump:

Canon 5D, 17-40 L and Lee Big Stopper.
151 Seconds @ F11
Focal Length 21mm
Iso 100

Apologies for my initial lack of comments on here, work commitments are tight at present  I will try and put that to rights over the next few weeks.

Phil - Love the mixed shadows and light in the distance. Processing looks perfect to me. Maybe a slight tilt to the right - maybe just an optical illusion. Nice job! :toast:

Beautiful scene with some lovely colours. The far off peak towards upper right looks lovely beneath those moving clouds.
That peak, the island (?) with the lone tree and the sky could form a separate image.
The FG rock on the bottom-right is not contributing much to the composition IMHO.

This is a beautiful Image of what looks like an incredible area. The mountains look a bit soft in the larger version, almost as if to much noise reduction was used. Fantastic Image :toast:

I love the reflection on the water in this shot - and the flow on the distant mountains and foreground grasses. These are wonderful lighting conditions and the processing is excellent. There is a lot going on here - which makes it difficult to find a place to rest the eye - and I can image myself taking several shots from this location. I wonder if you changed lenses to capture different perspectives? I especially love that little tree on the island in the distance.

Very nicely done! Congratulations!

What a gorgeous location. That foreground rock points the way into the rest of the picture. The light is wonderful and the moving clouds are an interesting textural contrast.

This is beautiful . . . really nice work! I'm not a big fan of the prominent rock in the foreground but all of the other elements work together nicely in your composition. The long exposure is a nice component of the scene too.

Amazing landscape Phil! The rock in the fg is a litle bit distracting, but thats nit picking.

Phil, it is delightful how the colors of the foreground are repeated in the background! I also think that the bright rock is a bit disturbing the otherwise serene and consistent composition. Anyway, I like the scene.

The processing here is killer. I really like this a lot Phil and I am suprised that it hasn't received more comments. I suggest removing some of the magenta from the background mountains and clouds. Incredible work! :wavey:

Great scene and light. I think cropping to just the top half would make a fantastic pano keeping all the best stuff here.

Beautiful capture Phil. The light on the mountains is phenomenal and the motion in the clouds compliments the light nicely. I do think the foreground is a bit of a distraction and my inclination would be to crop off the bottom to just above the top of the light foreground rock just right of center.

Wow, stunning image. I like the variation of light shinning through the clouds and the colors of the water almost match the clouds. Good detail in the larger image, nice job in getting this (looks like it was very windy), well done.

So nice Phil. One of the places on my list for visiting. Crisp and with wonderful tonality. The sky is working well with the water and the composition is great. Great shot. :toast:
