The Stream

My favourite objects in Tatra mountains are not great panoramas, but streams, which help creating nice compositions. Here is another example of the stream. The picture was made in Bystra ("fast moving") Valley.

Looking for any C/C.

Mamiya 645 Pro TL, Fuji Velvia 50, Mamiya 35 mm (informations about exposure lost).

Very nice Igor. Nothing mind blowing here but that's okay it doesn't need to be. Very well captured. I like the details in the stones and the lush green tones. I'd consider cropping or cloning out the green leaves in the bottom right foreground.

Nicely composed. Beautiful greens and water capture. I assumed looking at the thumbnail that this was somewhere close to my home in Oregon!

Igor,

I think this is a wonderful and intimate stream and cascade image. Great mix of moss covered rocks and the motion of the water. I really like this. If it were mine though, I might want to play a little bit with the blue-ish color in the water. It's not too much, but enough for me to comment on. And of course just my opinion. Otherwise, an excellent and well seen image.

Lovely colors Igor! I can only imagine what a larger image would look like.

I really like this, Igor. The strong tones and textures make for a nice visual feast.

Excellent comp and place, Igor. Two things ... the colors are to strong for me and I would reduce the blues in the water and maybe move the greens a bit towards the warmer side of the spectrum ... then there's that bright spot of water on the bottom center which I would try to tone down a bit to keep the eye in the center. Other than that - that's the kind of place I like to spent my time at.

I knew this was Velvia even before I read the caption. It just has all the hallmarks.

I like this a lot, Igor. A really well-constructed intimate landscape. Nice one.
