Very good work, Daniel. I can see you found excellent ss for the stream. I like trees on the left side and green stones, I wonder about another composition with these stones as a FG. Anyway - I like it.

The texture of the water due to your choice of shutter speed works very well with the texture of the moss. I really like the trunks, moss, and rocks on the left. I'm less attracted to the busy area in the top center, it detracts from the gentle mood of the rest of the picture. On my monitor, I've scrolled up so the top of the image becomes just above the vanishing point of the stream. That makes an interesting panorama.

Hey Daniel,
I might prefer this w/o the FG rock in the stream......but the rest is eye candy!

Not fair that this place can be this beautiful, this green, and have this great light in winter, too! Gorgeous scene and beautifully captured.

Well done. Excellent exposure on the water. Just how I'd expect a view from here to look. Excellent!

I like the scene and the light here, but would prefer to see some of the "froth" under the central rock or not see that rock at all. Otherwise, I like the comp here.

Jared, I did struggle with whether to include more of the froth below the central rock but ultimately felt that it detracted by pulling my eye down and out of the frame. - Dan

I like the perspective and your technical choices are perfect for this shot IMO.

Daniel,
This has a bit of a dreamy look to it, especially in the mosses of the LLC. Looks good whatever was done. A quiet and lovely streamside image with pretty nice balance between the woods, mosses and running stream. No nits or suggestions.

There is a nice green mood to this that wasn't apparent in the thumb. The lighting is a little flat, and opening this up a bit seems like it might make for a stronger image.

Nice image Daniel. The details in the larger version are excellent. How deep is the water here? It looks really clear.

Scott - definitely clear as clear can be. I don't think the water is more than 3-4 feet deep at the deepest but I didn't bring my waders to try it out. -Dan
