Spent last weekend in Yosemite Valley hoping for good light as I already knew no matter what I'd enjoy the visit. Woke up Sunday morning to find that the valley received a 3-5 inches of snow and at that point it was time to explore. I've never been in the valley after a fresh snow so this in itself was truly a treat.

Liked the tight composition. Very moody image. The peak peeking through the clouds/mist looks lovely.

What a great time to be in the valley and the clearing clouds really do it justice. Could see burning the top a bit here to keep the eye inside the frame better.

Very nice. The clouds in the back add a good contrast to the trees in the FG.

I love this little spot! You got a nice image here, Mike. The fresh snow is such a blessing, as I know how trampled it can get in a short amount of time.
