Took this in December at the Yerba Buena Gardens in San Francisco. I flew out to a conference a day early to head up to the Marin Headlands to shoot the Golden Gate and SF at sunrise. Unfortunately, God had other plans and the heavens opened up at about 4 a.m. I tried to salvage my morning by shooting the Yerba Buena Gardens next to my hotel. The gardens and plants were surprisingly nice for December.

Very beautiful, Eric ! The subtle variations in light and shade, and the overall pattern with its rich textures make for a visual treat. I can't recall a nicer fern image.
