This image has been in a folder on my desktop for ages waiting to be processed so I've finally set it free

I quite like the colours in this, a bit different to the ones I usually upload.

Sony A350
Sigma 10-20
5 secs
f16
ISO 100
10mm
Tripod
Cable release.

A calm and moody scene and an interesting alternative to the more dramatic seascapes. Very appealing.

There seems to be a large water spot in the middle about 1/3 of the way up. Otherwise, I like the lines in this vert comp and that subtle warm light.

Here's what it should have looked like (without that water drop on my filter)

The type of scene you long for on introspective days, when a calming from nature is needed for clearing the mind. Beautiful shot.

Excellent. Both the clouds and the rocks pull me into the scene.

The lines work together in this comp beautifully Geoffrey. The light on the foreground rocks is superb. The colours are real inviting in this seascape along with the textures in the rocks. Cheers

A magnificent image that oddly hasn't got too many visits. I don't know why, among the sea of posts, this one immediatly caught my eye. Excellent result! The composition is great and the lines in the foreground show a great choice on your side. Maybe, just maybe a bit more foreground could have been perfect, but it's still wonderful just as it is.
